Respect the Bee

No this is not an article/expose/rant on the Queen Bey, Beyonce, but of the actual industrious bee.

I've always loved honey and as an adult I've tried to include it more into my diet as a substitute of sugar.  For a little over a year now I've extended my use of bee products to include bee pollen. Pollen is the male seed of the flower. Bee pollen is the flower pollen that has been collected on the bodies of bees and may also include the bee's saliva and honey.

How to use

I simply spread a tablespoon on my cereal/porridges. Or add same to my smoothies for an extra boost. I also love to add about 2 tsp to my papaya in the morning but can be used with any fruit as well to my tea as a natural sweetener.
N.B. If you suffer from pollen allergies, its best to not use this.
So the next time you see a bee, remember the promise of wealth from folklore and all the benefits this hard worker does.
